I've checked up a few sites and the majority say to run a malwarebyte anti-malware software (which I am currently doing). The other solution that worked for a few people is to restore the computer to an earlier date. I have also tried this however it did not work (But this could also be as a result of restoring it back to yesterday instead of the beginning of the month?). I also ran another scan where it said that "C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe --> Trojan.Generic.5121605". I have attached the report of this scan to this email because it has a full detailed report of the scan itself.

Any help is much appreciated! I am a university student so the files on my computer are extremely important right now (its near exam time so the lecture notes are crucial!).

I have gotten rid of Trojan Fake alert AV and can not connect with the internet. If I connect the modem the computer sees it and then the icon disappears. If I disconnect the modem the computer sees the disconnect. I have tried going back to another time with no luck. I use WIndows XP. Used MalwareBytes and Norton to clean system.
