I wake up for pt at 0500 no afn, just a blue screen. I go to work at 0730 no AFN get off work at 1800 or so and have a picture and sound until about 1900 then wavey picture then10-15 minutes, white horizontal lines then no more AFN by 1930. Put in work orders for 3 weeks no luck.

I\'m located at FOB Salerno, Afghanistan and I can\'t seem to pick up an AFN signal. I have two different wire antennas I\'ve tried to no avail. I have a splitter that has \'DC In\' of which I plugged the power supply into; \'DC + RF\" which goes to the antenna; and \'RF\' which I send to the tv. I was told that the tv must be set to pick-up \'cable\' but, none of our tv\'s have this as an option, we\'re stuck with antenna scans only. I bought a product for my computer that scans cable signals, digital and analog air signals too, but only got the same static and no sign of a signal. Is there something I\'m missing, is my power supply dead? I have no clue.

Hello, my name is Marcos Silva, I am currently in Tallil Iraq. this is what I have:\r\n\r\nI am in the Army and I want to setup AFN in the S1... so we have a TV and an antenna (AFN antenna, which looks like a grill setup in the rooftop pointin out... )\r\n\r\nnow, I checked the coaxial cable, works great, including all connections...\r\n\r\nthis is the way it\'s setup. I have the TV connected to the coaxial cable, then the cable goes all the way up to the antena ... that\'s it... it\'s not working!!\r\n\r\nI tried to seach for channels and nothing... so please let me know if there is missing step here.\r\n\r\nthank you\r\n\r\nMarcos.

Ok we have the right setting for everything on our BOx, but we can only get a 50% on the signal strenght. I have tried moving the dish inches at a time up down left right and so on around the 50 strenght area. Is there an azmith that I need to be pointing at, Also the unit that we ripped out with said it work for the super bowl and cut out after that, and was unable to acquire a picture again. We are in Afghanistan as well in the Zabue provene.
