I have the latest version of Norton with full subscription. It has detected backdoor.graybird after a full system scan but told me it couldn\'t remove it. It told me the file that was infected, which I deleted. I scanned again and it hasn\'t picked it up but I\'m worried it might be somewhere else on my system, hidden.
I couldn\'t find svch0st.exe, ravmond.exe, winsdata.exe or winsocks5.exeinth processes under task manager. I am running Window Vista Home Basic.

My Symantec Antivirus 10.1.5.5000 found Backdoor.Graybird and kept listing continuous instances. Clicked delete and it said that it deleted all except one. Continued to list more instances repeatedly. Tried Avast (On-Access Protect did clash w/Symantec Antivirus), AVG, AntiVir, Spyware Doctor, Ad-Aware, and SpyBot. Did not work as Symantec Antivirus found Backdoor.Graybird over and over. Could not find any restore points that worked.
Went into Safe Mode and disabled restore in order to follow Symantec\'s removal routine. Subsequently would not let me delete any values in registry or uninstall Symantec Antivirus. Now goes into a re-boot loop after it partially enters the Windows XP opening screen: my icons load along with the taskbar items, but suddenly re-boots. Repeats over and over. Can\'t go fully into Windows XP without it automatically re-booting. Help!

Hi there, just recently did a scan on my computer with norton 360 for viruses and spyware and it found this Backdoor.Graybird virus. Problem is it says it needs my help to remove it since it could not do so automatically.

I downloaded this program where you can edit the LG Viewty themes with your own as the moment in time you cannot. It was called EFS Builder, BUT it didn\'t work so I deleted it! Or so I thought! Norton has done the full system scans and reported this and I found the install .rar file for it and deleted it! Checking the problem was done I redid the scan and again it was there! But Norton for some reason cannot remove it! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
