I sent you an email yesterday and you gave me an amazing program to get rid of a virus and when I ran the scan I did find some viruses and spyware but the free version wouldnt allow me to get rid of it all. when i try to use my headset, i get no sound or no voice. I did however get the sound to come through my earphones but then lost it when i was trying to figure out how to get my mic to work. I am very confident that it is a setting somewhere that is preventing me from being able to use my headset. To test it I was using skype. I was in the c-media mixer when i got the sound to come through and also in there when i lost it.

I just recently installed the driver for my sound device and before there was a little speaker icon in the task tray that indicated the sound but now that has been removed (after the audio driver installation) and it has been replaced with some weird icon that says C-media mixer and now my sound does not work at all. I tried updating the driver but there were no updates available. The type of audio device it is is: ESS 1969 PCI AudioDrive (WDM)

I have the problem that my pc doesn't produce any sound. I can't heard music and any sound in my pc. All this start one day when I was using it. My pc was normal and I can heard music and all the stuff. But sudenly my pc freze and she shuts down automaticaly during my Word proyect. When I start it again appears a window that says "Mixer.exe error. If you try experiencing this problem try to restart your computer". I restart it and I can't heard any sound and the error still appearing. Please I need to fix this problem because this pc is very boring without any sound.
