NTkrnl virus hit the computer. Unable to locate.
Problem Summary: NTkrnl virus hit the computer. Unable to locate.
Upon startup of any user on this computer, a gray window pops up for 1-3 seconds saying something to the effect of NTkrnl Secure Suite.I know it's a virus, but avast! is unable to locate the darn thing. I posted my issue in a tech support area of sonicandpals.com, and one user posted a link that said to look in the services area. I checked every service, but couldn't find it. At the moment, I'm running searches on the entire computer, including hidden files and folders, for the .dll version of the virus (I'll check for .exe after it finishes), and hope for results. As for what it's doing to the computer, I'll simplify it to say it was a pain getting here and getting the arithmetic expression to pop up, and it might be a pain just to send this out.
