Internet connectivty is slow and IE is acting as though it has been spammed. Cannot access sites I need to download tools or update existing tools (i.e. AVG, Lavasoft, Spybot). It is acting as though I do not have any connections. Went through Add/Remove and found eAcceleration and attemtped to remove.

Selected uninstall and even though there was nothig to choose the program eventually told me that all componenents (sp) were removed and prompted me to restart system.

After removal, internet connection still not stable. Cleared out Temp files, Java files, reset IP Addresses, reset modem. Still, IE and Firefox is behaving sluggish when it does want to act as though it will work. When it appears it want to function I will click on a link, this link will either open another window, but not take me to the correct site; or stay on same window and take me on a unrelated page. Otherwise, it tells me page cannot be displayed.
