When I try to open Stop Sign Software Station, I get a Windows IE box that reads: One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either: 1)your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page or 2)you have blocked a publisher of one of the controls, as a result, the page might not display properly. After I click on this notice four times or so, the Station page does come up and reads: \"Please wait while Software Station loads\" and thats it. Nothing else loads and none of the titles (Services, Features, overview) will respond to the curser. I have un-installed the entire eaccelleration/StopSign program as directed and re-installed it over and over again only to acquire the same results again and again. I have also checked my security settings and they are set on default. The program did work when I first installed it and suddenly this has been happening. Unable to remove eAcceleration
Problem Summary: Unable to remove eAcceleration
Internet connectivty is slow and IE is acting as though it has been spammed. Cannot access sites I need to download tools or update existing tools (i.e. AVG, Lavasoft, Spybot). It is acting as though I do not have any connections. Went through Add/Remove and found eAcceleration and attemtped to remove.
Selected uninstall and even though there was nothig to choose the program eventually told me that all componenents (sp) were removed and prompted me to restart system.
After removal, internet connection still not stable. Cleared out Temp files, Java files, reset IP Addresses, reset modem. Still, IE and Firefox is behaving sluggish when it does want to act as though it will work. When it appears it want to function I will click on a link, this link will either open another window, but not take me to the correct site; or stay on same window and take me on a unrelated page. Otherwise, it tells me page cannot be displayed.
