getting music to actually download to the music manager

Problem Summary: getting music to actually download to the music manager
about two days ago safter selectin the open box and choosing to haven it downloaded,it wld not even show name of song in the download queue, and download status stayed at 0% ansd states no files in queue. i have searched everywhere in my computer to see where the song went to and what if any but have not been able to find it anywhere and have checked the program and to the best of my knowledge everything is correct. so why wont the sogs download am i not doing things correctly or am i not liiking in right place for downloaded songs
