this. Also I could not find the physical copy (on disk)
of this new EXPLORER.EXE. This process makes the laptop
slow. I usually terminate it then. Then it becomes faster.
But next time I start the laptop it is there. I don\'t

I have just installed onecare (micrisoft) and run the scan. Appearently, the Onecare either doesn\'t recognize \"explorer.exe\"and is suggecting I block this program to the net. It\'s my theory that some virus or malware has modified the original explorer.exe and in it\'s place left something with added vunerabilities suiting the needs and desires of one or many hackers. How do I know if the current file hasn\'t been f_cked with?...........two filed found while searching hard drive turns up as explorer.exe-082f38a9.pf size:100kb(102,508 bytes, or size on disk:104kb(106,496 bytes) found in c:\\windows\\prefetch\\ and explorer.exe, version:6.00.2900.5512 (xpsp.080413-2105) as created & modified:Monday, April 14, 2008, 5:00AM, Accessed:May 5, 2009, 9:20.44PM, size:0.98MB (1,033,728 bytes), size:0.98mb (1,036,288 bytes)
