I have a hp pavilion dv8327 notebook pc that may have a hardware issue. I reinstalled the xp media operating system with the recovery discs I ordered from hp and it installed up to the point the factory drivers were installing and shut down on reboot it came up with a window that says software is being installed when complete your computer will restart etc. then a window came up saying there was a unrecoverable error that occured and to contact system administrater and to hit enter to shut computer down now on restart it automatically shuts down. It will start in safe mode and I have tryed to disable all system devices in hardware manager that had errors and also tryied unchecking the box for windows to auto shut down on system error but neither worked still shuts down. Is there any way to keep the hp drivers from loading automatically so I can determine if there is a hardware problem. or will an upgrade to windows vista possibly solve the problem. Thanks musch.

When I tried to reinstalle
TrayApp came up and I could not go on with it. I tried to get ris of TrayApp, but I didnot mange to do so. I also could not switch off anymore the comuter with the start button and after I switched off with the button on the computer and restarted with that button TrayApp apeared again on the screen and there was on the screen also the advice to restore the desk top. But I did not manage to do that either.
Can you help me by telling me how to solve the problem?

I have uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it three times. Any help you can send will be very appriciated.

but i can\'t find that file and i can\'t solve this problem. i\'ve windows vista home premium 32bit and i\'ve already installed the driver software from the hp site. so what can i do?
