Pen drive is not opening.
Problem Summary: Pen drive is not opening.
I have a 4 GB Transcend Pen drive and my operating system is Windows XP.
When ever I connect my pen drive the system says FOUND NEW HARDWARE and installs the newly found hardware successfully.
I even see a driver icon i.e Removable Disk J when I open my computer.
The problem is when i double click on it, i get an error message saying \"PLEASE INSERT A DISK IN DRIVE J\"
When I right click on it and click on FORMAT, it gives the same error message.
I tried exploring it through DOS Prompt. But when i type in J: it says DEVICE IS NOT READY.
I have Norton Antivirus Installed but when I write click on the same icon of drive J, i\'m not getting any option for SCANNING my pen drive.

When i want to get the data from my pen drive, a virus activated gives an message each time when i restart my syster with a seperate window prompting \"Window-No Disk\". When i tried Ctrl+Alt+Del....it shows SAM ---SORRY---. Plz help.
