I have tried all sorts of reputed Anti-virus software such as avast!, AVG, Norton, and various Anti-spyware software like Spybot:S&D, Spyware Doctor etc. The antiv-virus software detect the threat. But they do not seem to be able to deal with it. I have tried all the options the software provide me with - Heal, Move to Vault/Chest, Delete, Move/Rename etc. But if I scan the folder in which the virus was detected, its still there and I can still feel its effects. Every time I start/re-start the PC whatever anti-virus I might be trying at that moment detcts the threat and I choose an option, but the worm just stays put. Initially, when I was using avast!, the file affected was supposed to be D:\\autorun.ini Then avast! repeatedly kept telling me that the PC was infected, mvoing from D:\\autorun.ini, to C:\\autorun.ini, to E and to F. It kept on switching between the drives and everytime I tried to Heal it or quarantine it, but then after some time another drive had supposedly been infected. So, I just can\'t seem to be able to tackle this virus with any kind of anti-malware, I\'ve tried scanning and removing the worm in Safe mode too. Till now I have lost none of my data due to the worm, and its only effects have been those stated above. But I\'m worried, I hate sluggish performance. Can someone help me out? Will I have to re-install the operating system? Or is there a simpler solution?

Right, well this is a flash drive virus which has spread to my computer.
Orignally, I had taken a friends flash drive to transfer some files but he had a virus which i had mistaken as a folder and clicked it thus spreading it to my own computer. Which I can\'t seem to remove at the moment. When I inserted a flash drive into my computer it becomes infected hiding the orignal folder and replacing it with (originalfoldername.exe).
Once I managed to unhide my folders and back them up I formatted my flash drive in an attempt to remove it only to have it reappear again as i.exe, ii.exe, iii.exe and Recycle.exe(hidden folder/file/application)
I believe the problem lies in my own computer but my anitvirus (EsestNod32) won\'t detect it and I wasn\'t able to remove it though I had suspected the \'flashy\' virus it does not have the same symptoms.
