How to fix J-Desktop

My D: drive with recover partition is not showing
in My computer, secondly when i try to repair window using recover console it loads files but then tells me the drive is not attached. when windows boots up to but stop short before desktop icons appear. I have to load the program with the run command before the icons appear. Then also my usb ports do not recognise any device attached.

please send me a solution. The OS is Windows xp profession with SP2 .
