my roblem started when mozilla firefox windows starts closing automatically. then, other windows (microsoft word, windows explorer and internet explorer) started to close on its own. I downloaded an antivirus (cc setup 32) and saved the installer in a folder in drive d. the first problem (windows closing on its own) occurs again and again. I restored my computer to an earlier date. the first problem happenned again. i restored it again to an even earlier date. later, i checked out the files in drive d. all of them have the .scr (or screensaver) attached to the end of the name of the files. i am thinking of copying these files onto drive d and placing them in drive c for a while while i reformat drive d and placed them back to where they previously was. I\'m scared that I\'d lose these files as I believe that they are not really copied to drive c (copying takes less than a few seconds). right now, i have reformatted drive c. as i was typing this message, the first problem happenned again. help.
