I have tried to install channel 4od a number of times. When I install it it generates an error message 1904. The solution for this - according to the channel 4 website - is to manually start the kservice.exe program. I have located this in Vista\'s services list, and it is listed as \"stopped\", but when I try and start it I get error message 0x80004005 and told that Vista cannot start kservice.exe.

I have checked my firewall and both kservice.exe and khost.exe are listed as unblocked. Any ideas gratefully received.

Every time i try to double click on the desktop sky player icon and in the start menu nothing happens ive ran program as administrator and tried to change it to go in windows xp but i still cant get it to work, please help. Could it have something to do with a dodgy Kontiki software stuff?

4oD Wont Work/Start

I have 4od installed on my computer and have been having problems lately. It Used to work fine but now wont work.

When I try and start the 40d program the hour glass appears for a couple of seconds and then nothing happens.
Please Help I Have Tried Uninstalling and reinstalling It says Error 1904.

sky player issue

When I try to download a programme from the bbc iplayer it shows in the download manager window but stops. When i click resume a pop up comes up telling me it needs to update windows media player. I click yes and it seems to connect to the server then download but when the download bar gets to the end it says content cannot be upgraded. Then I get another pop up saying
There has been an error your player security has not been updated.
