First my cousin accidentally installed mirar. It did nothing at first except installed an annoying toolbar. I deleted mirar in add remove programs but i guess it didn\'t get everything. Next thing I know my cd DVD drive was disabled better yet that drive can\'t be found at all. Then I ran spyware doctor scan it found mirar toolbar but I couldn\'t purchase at the time. It\'s listed in View/Toolbars pulldown menu but is usually faded out (non0active apparently). However, I checked again right now and it seems to have taken over the google toolbar. I uninstalled the Ask toolbar an hour earlier, may be that has affected the toolbars listed with the connection of each name so listed with its corresponding toolbar! In the said menu, google is not listed by now ticking on or off the activated (no more fade)Mirar affects goolge toolbar directly! A tick mark remains against an empty spce, on that list, presumably against the uninstalled Ask toolbar!
Anyway, the bottom line is: please help in the simplest possible way to get rid of MIRAR TOOLBAR!

my problem first began when my search engine of choice, firefox ceased to connect.

as such, i used internet explorer and was confronted with the mirar toolbar.

I suspect that mirar has something to do with firefox not working.

i have done everything to remove mirar. however, when i pull up the windows task manager, i cannot locate any of the components mentioned that would involve mirar. futhermore, when i openned that add/delete programs, although mirar was listed, i was not given the option to u ninstall it. finally, i searched for the file C:\\Documents and Settings\\User\\local settings\\temporary internet files\\content.ie5\\fj5xdh9e\\ suggested on my harddrive. my harddrive told me that the program may have been relocated.

I need to know how to remove Mirar from my computer without having to do it manually. Is there a program that will delete it from my system completely that is like spyware removal and is FREE? The Mirar has embedded it\'s self into my system and is causing alot of problems with my programs. I have already run the Spyhunter scan and it showed me everything infecting my system, but it cost money to have those infections removed, and I dont have money or a credit card to be able to purchase anything, and the manual way is so tedious that I am nervous about doing it.
