Hi,

I just recently attempted to install windows service pack 2 on another employees computer..

it ran into an error that said \"access denied\" then it proceeded to uninstall all of the files associated with windows sp2, and restarted.

After that it now restarts everytime windows trys to load. in all forms \"safe mode, vga mode etc..\"

I ran the recovery console and tried to uninstall the service pack using \"$NTservicepackuninstall$\\spuninst\" many forms of the link.. I ran the chkdsk \\r function and such it fixed one error but it didn\'t fix the restarting problem..

So I put the hard drive as a storage drive on another pc and scanned it for viruses and spyware, I found 25 viruses killed them all no spyware, so that was all good.

I also found that the computer had no traces I could tell of having sp2.. the \"C:\\Windows\\$NTServicpackuninstall$\" folder was non existant (yes i had show all hidden files and folders on)

I even copied the uninstall folder and files for sp2 from another pc and put it on the damaged pc in the correct location and that was no good..

So I am at a loss....

btw the error message when I stopped automatic restart on system failure was \"Stop: c0000135\" and \"winsrv was not found\" it might have been spelled slightly different but the numbers and error of winsrv was there... also the winsrv file is still there, well atleast the file called \"winsrv.dll\" help me please!
