I have been working with this problem all day. I've unistalled and reinstalled paperport 12 many times. After doing a clean install I can get the paperport image printer to print to paperport for a while but then it becomes disabled the printer grays out and says offline. If I got to the printer properties and check out the printer ports nothing is check and I don't get any options to add image printer as to the printer ports. I've tried to upgrade to paperport 12.1 standard but the same problem and then it does not recognize my printer so I went back to version 12.0 but still doesn't work for printing to papeport. I've disable just about everything in my start up including my firewall and antivirus software ( Zone Alarm Extreme) Still doesn't work This is a brand new computer running Windows 7 Professional. I've look just about everywhere and cannot come up with a solution to this problem

I worked with Nuance about this problem. We did a few things that did not help. So we disabled all processes under msconig. They sent me a newer version of paperport 12 to load. I then could print to the image printer. After awhile I remembered that I needed to go back in and enable the precesses. Did that and now I have the same proble.
