I did run Malwarebytes and several threats were found and removed. After they were removed, I ran another scan and no threats were found. How do I uninstall this malware from my control panel?

I was trying to use EZTV (first time user), I downloaded TornTV thinking I needed this to view programs. I realised I didn't need or want this, so uninstalled via Programs & Features. I used eztv to download a tv episode, the windows box popped up, I clicked save, then it loaded, then run, it loaded quickly then the windows user account control popped up, I allowed cool mirage to make changes on my computer, then torntv download window automatically pops up, the installer, automatically installing torn tv onto my computer, the installer says my files are ready for download, at this point, the files are in my computer as .exe files and not recognized by utorrent and vlc media player and my computers media players as well. The installer gives me the option to skip, which simply closes (but does not uninstall) torntv installer, if I click the only other option, next, a download bar shows up 'step one if one' it takes a second for it to load and then, nothing. The files are the same, still .exe under my explore button but not recognized by any of my media players, invisible to them. If I goto torn tv, there is nothing but options to download sports, news, movies, music, etc... But nowhere to find my downloads... I'd like to download the torrents into utorrent or vlc, and I want torn tv to stop automatically installing when I try to download torrents from eztv... I've seen my friend download torrents from eztv on his pc, he only has utorrent and vlc, like me and it works fine... I have windows 8 though, so maybe that changes things....
