I had a really old msn messenger that was already installed along with windows XP and so I deleted it (instead of updating it, dumb move) from the start menu, reason being that it was not shown in the add/remove programs windows. So I installed the windows installer and proceeded to download windows live messenger 9. It said I already had a messenger installed so I read through some forums and I downloaded a registry cleaner and I searched \"Messenger\" in the search bar, I then deleted all the keys that came up. I tried downloading and installing windows live again, it still said i had it installed. Through browsing the net, I found out that placing this: \"msiexec /x {B1403D7D-C725-4858-AACC-7E5FA2D72859}\" in the run command, it completely uninstalls windows messenger. So I downloaded windows live 9 again and it dosen\'t say messenger is already installed, so I continue the installation, at the very end it says there is an error and it dosen\'t install it. The error code is hr:0x8007064a. I have a feeling that deleting the registry keys in messenger might have messed it up. Please help
