I am hoping you can provide some suggestions to a problem with my Silicon Power 16 GB USB flash drive (Model Touch 850).

I had my SP 16 GB USB flash drive inserted in the computer the whole day and it was fine in the morning. Then at night suddenly the computer couldn't detect my USB flash drive. a friend of mine asked me to help him with his usb. A Kingston 120 8GB. Normally, the PC detects the usb but with this one would take about a minute or two (would even hang for almost 4minutes) and sees the disk as "Removable Disk (F:)" after waiting it now sees the disk as "KINGSTON (F:)"
and displays FAT32 rather than the disk size. When i tried to open it no files were displayed and when I looked at its properties, it displays 0 bytes for both Used and Free Space. So i tried to format it in various ways, 1. Right click and Format, but nothing would happen.
2.the CMD command, but would display "Cannot open volume for direct access."
3.through Disk Management. but it does not show the Disk
