I am hoping you can provide some suggestions to a problem with my Silicon Power 16 GB USB flash drive (Model Touch 850).

I had my SP 16 GB USB flash drive inserted in the computer the whole day and it was fine in the morning. Then at night suddenly the computer couldn't detect my USB flash drive. Actually I can still see the F: drive on my computer and when I insert it in my laptop (Windows vista) my laptop recognizes it, but when I double click on the F: drive all I get is a message saying "Please insert a disk into the F: drive". I tried inserting the USB drive on different computers (I’ve tried both Windows 7 and XP) but the problem is the same. The USB properties also show 0 bytes memory but it does show the flash drive’s name. It also shows "no media" in Device Management. I am wondering what may be the root of the problem, is it a software or hardware issue? And are there any ways I can retrieve the data?
