I got Vista Home Edition Premium on my Dell Ispiron 1501 laptop.
I noticed my PC was running a bit slow, so I tried to run Windows Defender. When it finished, I got some link about wanting to remove my viruses, so I thought it was some Vista thing I haven\'t encountered before sine I automatically updates. Well it stuck me hard with the WinAntiVirus pro.
It would come up on the dot every 5 minutes with a loud pig screeching noise about some virus that didn\'t exist and want me to buy their stuff. I updated my Avast, ran it, and it did pretty much nothing to help me.
I did a system restore to a healthy point four days before and that seemed to help a lot. I have little problems, but now it just will randomly direct my websites to commercial websites, or just won\'t let me enter. I get this message when I try to go to Youtube or Xtube. I don\'t know how to get rid of it.
