I want to uninstall Yahoo messenger. From add or remove programs when I click on Remove Yahoo msgr, then I get message couldn\'t open INSTALL.LOG file. So how to remove Yahoo messenger from my computer? Please reply

i\'ll get straight to the point...my laptop came with windows vista home premium pre installed...all was well untill about a month back when yahoo messenger refused to launch....i uninstalled it and then tried to install it online...didnt work-was connected to the net overnight till noon the next day but still the installation was going on (for about 14 hours straight).i stopped it somehow and then tried clicking on the messenger icon..nothing happened! i tried uninstalling it...it said...\"could not locate install.log file\"....i restored the system to a previous point and tied installing again...still the same result....then i got a downloaded version of yahoo messenger 9 from a friend ( he got it free on a dvd with some computer magazine),tried installing it..even that failed...please help me here..im running out of ideas!

i hav formatted my system recently on feb 3rd.. 4m tat day i hav been facing a prob in installing nero n kaspersky antivirus.. the error is\"error opening installation log file.verify tat the specifed log file exists and it is writable..
since it is windowa installer prob i downloaded windows installer packge and istalled but still tis prob persist,,kindly help me 2 get on wit tis.. wil b waitin for ur reply
