I have several ongoing processes on my computer, but one that is not familiar and is called dpagent.exe and is also called digital persona. There are a bunch of files under the process, most of which I have no idea what they are, but all come from an application - unknown and not by Windows - called DP agent. DigitalPersona 64-bit Helper Process. In properties, it says Digial Persona Inc. with no email address, and unknown other information. How do I remove this, is it safe to remove it, and is this application an extension of something I should keep? Is it in fact a trojan? It runs 1, 268 j memory about at a time and is using up a lot of my CPU usage. This is a new laptop and I am constantly using it for school, and need it to work fast.

As with many of the other posters, agent.exe is running and using up most of the computer\'s free memory. Have tried shutting down isuspm files in msconfig - and this works, but is blocking other processes.
Suspect that agent.exe is related to macrovision files/programs (flexnet?).

a file named agent.exe in my task manager consumes between 30 to 40% of my memory. I deleted all Dell software since I do not use it anyway. When I click on \"end process\" in task manager it comes back almost immediately. I run Verizon security suite and show no virus plus I run Spyware Doctor again with no problems reported. Just for good measure I ran an Advanced Registry optimizer and again no problems reported. Any help is appreciated.
