Q: How can Active Shield save me from unknown threats?
A: Active Shield rapidly scans system-critical areas like system folders, processes, autorun entries, registry entries, BHOs, cookies and much more and looks for potentially unsafe or suspicious actions. If such action is identified, Active Shield warns user about the program which caused such action, and if the user chooses to, kills the troubled application. For known threats, the exact name of infection will be shown. For unknown threats Active Shield will tell the name and the location of the program which caused an action similar to what spyware or adware usually do.
Q: Does Active Shield reduce the performance of my computer when active?

Dropped active processes from 35 to 23 therefore reducing boot time and overall performance. Found removable items that AdAware and Registry Mechanic would not touch.
