I have been trying to use a new webcam and skype for the first time. When I first installed webcam and skype it worked fine. Then I restarted computer and make a call via skype and skype had the error "Problem with playback device" and my webcam wasn't working. I called logitech (webcam manufacter) and they walked me thru and only through a clean start they were able to determine that the camera did indeed work but skype was still having problem with playback device. Logitech said they couldn't help me any more and had me restart computer and then I received the following error "Access violation at address 0040E1F4 in module ALCWZRD.EXE real of address 00000000. Logitech said they couldn't help me and that was that with them. I then went into norton and made sure Logitech was allowed. and rebooted computer webcam is working now but still receiving same error thru skype " problem with playback device" Can you help me. Problem Summary: Speakers produce no sound, Access violation
The speakers will produce no sound, when checking the realtek speaker config there is an icon lit up plugged into the audio out on the backpanel where the speakers are plugged in. Upon clicking the icon I am given the windows error message that reads "Access violation at address 0040E1F4 in module 'ALCWZRD.EXE'. Read of address 00000000.
