iMesh intrusion method

iMesh installs on your PC along with free software. This method is called "bundled installation". Freeware offers you to install additional module (iMesh). Then if you fail to decline the offer it starts hidden installation. iMesh copies its file(s) to your hard disk. Its typical file name is imesh.exe. Sometimes it creates new startup key with name iMesh and value imesh.exe. You can also find it in your processes list with name imesh.exe or iMesh. Also, it can create folder with name iMesh under C:\Program Files\ or C:\ProgramData. After installation iMesh starts displaying ads, pop-ups, banners on your PC or in browsers. It is recommended to remove iMesh immediately.

Protect computer and browsers from infection

Adware threats like iMesh are very wide-spread, and unfortunatelly many antiviruses fail to detect it. To protect your computer from future infection we recommend you to use SpyHunter, it has active protection module and browser settings guard. It does not conflict with any antiviruses and creates additional shield against threats like iMesh.

Problem Summary: cannot connect

Hi there,

I cannot seem to connect to my imesh account on this computer. I re-installed windows xp upgraded to service pack three, and then re-installed imesh from the website. The program runs, and can sign in as a guest, but whenever I try to sign into my account I get a message stating that Imesh is unable to connect and I should make sure I am connected to the internet. I am connected to the internet, and I double checked to make sure that my antivirus (Avast!) was not blocking it. I just tried to connect to imesh with my laptop, and everything is working fine, i can access my account there, just not on this computer. I went into my account settings from my laptop and deleted this computer, and now I have only my laptop and one other computer listed as devices. I still cannot connect with this computer.

Thank you,

Problem was successfully solved. Ticket was closed.
