Motherboard- Gigabyte Ep43-Ds3l
OS- Windows Vista 32 bit home basic oem
Ram-2gb corsair 1200 ram

I have had to reset my computer to factory settings several times due to BSODs and crashes. I would like to know if there is some solution to stop these occurances and make my pc run properly consistently. It tells me that jusched.exe is missing and several .dll files such as msvCr71.dll.

We have a Sony Vaio VGN-FZ24OE, with Windows Vista, purchased Dec 2007. I am having trouble getting the rest of the specs of our system (SP version ,etc.), because MSCONFIG, and nearly every other application is currently failing, even when run out of safe mode MSDOS prompt

The machine boots up through Windows logon, and experiences problems loading the desktop (JUSched.exe error, and Vaio Update Error, for example). TIt then gives an error that WinInet.dll cannot be found, and it suggests reinstalling the application. Then a Java Platform SE Binary has stopped error occurs.

We have Panda AV 2008 (v3.01.00) running, which seems to be one of the only things that works currently. We cannot get a network connection to the internet. MS Office still loads. When trying to open any folders, we get a \'Class Not Registered Error\'.

Panda\'s log shows that a Virus in c:Windows\\System32\\WinInet.dll was discovered and disinfected earlier today, which is when the problems started.

I ran the system Restore to the last saved point (Yesterday, 4/6), but the same problem still occured.

I confirmed that there is no wininet.dll file in c:/Windows/System32 folder.

Our Vaio did not come with a recovery CD.

Any suggestions on what I might try ?
