Good day. I have a problem when it comes to installing sound driver. I had checked the Control Panel to see if what kind of hardware I have that is responsible for sound. Im installing my Realtek AC97 drivers for my sound card cause i recently formated my computer. when the installing almost is finished windows pops up an log where it says - the software you are installing for this hardware: realtek ac\'97 audio has not passed windows logo testing to verify its compatibility with windows XP. then it offers me to continue or STOP. i press continue then reboot my computer but i still dont have sound.

ive recently installed a new hard drive as the old one was corrupt. i have loaded windows xp onto it but the sound drivers will not install. i have tried to download the file for the realtek drivers but when i run it i get a windows logo message come up if i then continue with installation and direct the install towards the driver folder my computer suddenly shuts down.
