How can I fix this?

After this happening, my audio device dies completely (computer has no sound; in Control Panel => Sounds and Audio Devices says No audio device found; many applications refuse to run because no audio devices detected!). Please note that while such error messages does not appear (few minutes after booting), everything is OK. I can tell you even more if I open an application that obligatory needs an audio device, before such error appears, the applications continues to work well (with sound) even after such error appears and so no sound (except for applications opened before error appearance).Also my LAN drivers go away.Do you understand? What do you suggest?Pls do help me

I have 2 systems a PC and a Laptop (Both running on XP Professional SP3) connected via LAN cable. My problem is that when ever I establish a connection between the two and start exchanging files I get the following error in my laptop after a few minutes

After this error shows, my audio stops, but only in applications - the windows sounds and others still work. Sometimes it stops right after I turn on my PC, sometimes it\'s ok for a whole day. I got intermittent connection problem in my office LAN. All PC can ping any PC fine, but cant sharing with each other. If i restart the PC, then it can shared for a while (maybe 10 minutes) before the problem come again. I try to do \\\\ip_num but it just give me error of not accessible etc, and then the PC will become crazy soon afterward (no sound mixer, system32 error, freeze etc) and had to restart. When this happened some Windows services are stopped on their own (computer browser, server, workstation), so maybe that\'s why they cannot sharing with each other anymore. Most of the PC give Generic Host error like this:
