Problem Summary: svchost; audio will stop working, will resume if pc has been restarted

I\'ve had this problem recently...
An error message with the title \"Generic Host Process for Win32 Services\" pops up saying:

>

It only has a \"Close\" button.

If I click on \"click here\", it shows another message, with the same title (\"Generic Host Process for Win32 Services\"):

>

This window also has only a \"Close\" button.

When I click on \"click here\", it shows the third (and final!) window, entitled \"Error Report Contents\". It says:

>

When I clicked \"Close\" in the first window, the sound went out. It appeared like I had no sound board installed. It fixed after I restarted.

The error appeared again, but when I clicked \"Close\" this time, I couldn\'t acces the Internet. When I tried to view the Internet Status, the window kept closing IMEDIATLY after. Also, the download speed in my BitTorrent client decreased to 0 kbps. It all goes to normal after a restart, but the error appeares again after an hour or two of activity.

How can I fix this?

I have uploaded an image with the error on PhotoBucket.com:

Problem Summary: No audio after error, only applications

After this error shows, my audio stops, but only in applications - the windows sounds and others still work. Sometimes it stops right after I turn on my PC, sometimes it\'s ok for a whole day. If I start a music or video before the error though, even if it shows, the audio doesn\'t stop unless I close the multimedia program. Please help!!! Thanks :)

Problem Summary: generic host process error

I am using a PC with Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2, which has as audio device, Realtek HD. All my drivers are up-to-date. I have a serious a problem few minutes after booting Windows, an error message appears saying \"Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. After this happening, my audio device dies completely (computer has no sound; in Control Panel => Sounds and Audio Devices says No audio device found; many applications refuse to run because no audio devices detected!). Please note that while such error messages does not appear (few minutes after booting), everything is OK. I can tell you even more if I open an application that obligatory needs an audio device, before such error appears, the applications continues to work well (with sound) even after such error appears and so no sound (except for applications opened before error appearance).Do you understand? What do you suggest?
