After I have applied a patch from Windows Update, that I do not remember the #, Explorer keeps crashing every time that I opened it.

The issue is not only with Explorer.exe, but with Control Panel, too. It opens and a few seconds after, it closes it. When the Explorer.exe close, it refresh my desktop too, like a new incarnation of the Explorer has been opened. I have tried everything, anti-virus, spywares, malwares, etc. Nothing helped me to solve the issue.

I really appreciate your help on it.

I\'ve tried everything. Tried running virus software after virus software and nothing fixes it. What is going on is explorer.exe loads up on startup but within 5 seconds it disappears and I can\'t get anything. No desktop icons or anything.
