Problem Summary: Adware Mediapipe Crap

I thought I was downloading burning software, but it was a bad link to some porn site and adware was downloaded. My anti-virus software (Macafee) has gotten rid of most of the stuff, but there are still things going wrong. There are three programs that keep popping up in my menus and on my desktop. I deleted a bunch of the corrupted files, but I keep getting popups even when my Internet is turned off or not connected. The popups tell me I need to download software to get rid of viruses, but those popups load me to a site to download a program that hides porn. Please help. Thank you.

Steve
