Here are the descriptions of problems connected with Mixi.DJ Delta Toolbar and MixiDJ.exe we received earlier:

Problem Summary: no evidence in register and task manager of MixiDj

Hi

Yesterday I downloaded a program called "PDF Reader for windows 7" as I couldn't complete the Adobe reader installation. Since then my computer runs very slowly and when I open Google Chrome, the MixiDj browser page comes up instead of the usual google one, with the URL: http://mixidj.delta-search.com/?affID=121136&tt=gc_&babsrc=HP_ss&mntrId=70BC94DE800EF20D.

I tried looking the internet for solutions but when I looked in my register or Windows task manager to delete the files you guys suggested on securitystronghold, I couldn't find anything. The following processes weren't active in my WTM:
• bho.dll
• FF8Installer.exe
• MixiDJ.crx
• MixiDJ.exe
• MixiUpdater.exe
• uninst.exe
• Updater.exe
• version.exe
• YouTubeManager.dll
• MixiDJ.lnk
• 6_Offer_2.exe
• DownloadManager.exe
• MixiDJ_Updater.lnk

and the following malicious registry entries and/or values weren't in my registry:
Key: HKLMSOFTWAREClassesCLSID{23C8BC15-E9CE-4DF3-A2A9-1F2585F56F99}

Is it possible that the files are hidden and/or could you explain to me please how I can delete this program?
I don't have an anti-virus yet because I recently had a re-install of windows 7, but I read that AV can't find MixiDj so it doesn't matter, is that true?

kind regards
Milan Langhendries
